Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra/NJP - Transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.
Meet and greet by our representative.
Transfer to Gangtok (approx. 4-5 hours drive).
Check-in at the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 2

Day 2: Gangtok Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), a glacial lake known for its serene beauty. Optional visit to Baba Mandir (additional permit required). Return to Gangtok. Visit MG Marg in the evening for shopping and leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 3

Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 4 hours drive). Check-in at the hotel. Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre, and Tenzing Rock. Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

DAY 4

Day 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to witness sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (subject to clear weather). Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, and the local market. Optional activities like toy train ride and tea garden visit (own expense). Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

DAY 5

Day 5: Departure from Darjeeling

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Departure for onward journey.
