Geography of the Tawang – The Tawang town is situated approx 555 km from Assam Capital Gowahati and 320 km from Tejpur. This place is surrounded by Tibet in north side and Bhutan south west.
Best time to visit – The best time to visit Tawang in summer is from March to June. The tourists will love to go in September and October also. The snowfall will energize to the adventure lovers.

By Air – The nearest domestic airport is Salonibari Airport at Tezpur at a distance from 386Km.The nearest International airport is LGBI airport at Gowahati at a distance of 480 km.
By Train – The nearest railway station is Rangapara railway station at a distance of 383 km, Tezpur & Gowahati railway station also there but far away.
By Road- The tourists can reach by bus, taxi or cab from Gowahati or from Tezpur to reach Tawang.
